Welcome to Quickvites. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Carlos Alfredo Zuniga Costa, the developer of Quickvites, based in Honduras ("Quickvites", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of the Quickvites mobile apps for iOS and Android, the Quickvites website and any related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Quickvites app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quickvites (16 if you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you confirm you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You agree to give accurate account information and keep it up to date. You can review and sign out of your active sessions from Settings.
Quickvites has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to:
Blocking and reporting. You can block any user from their profile; blocked users can no longer message you, invite you or see your activity. To report a user or content that breaks these Terms, contact [email protected] with the username and a description. We review reports within 24 hours, and we may remove the content and suspend or permanently ban the user responsible.
Quickvites is a tool that lets users create events, send invitations, RSVP and check guests in. We do not organize, host, supervise or guarantee the safety of any event. Hosts are solely responsible for their events, including the venue, guest conduct, permits, legal compliance and any fees they choose to charge.
By hosting or attending an event through Quickvites, you do so at your own risk. Quickvites is not liable for anything that happens before, during or after an event, including injury, property damage, cancellations or disputes between users.
Hosts may show an entry fee or a price on an event, and users may track shared costs with the cost-split feature. Quickvites does not process, collect or hold any of these payments. Any payment between a host and guests, or between friends splitting costs, happens entirely outside the app and is solely between those users. We are not responsible for refunds, unpaid amounts or disputes about them.
Each guest receives a unique entry QR code for an event. Do not share or copy another person's QR code. A host may add co-hosts and door staff to help manage an event and check guests in; the host is responsible for the people they give these roles to. Check-in records exist to help hosts manage attendance, and the host decides who is admitted to their event.
Quickvites is free to download and use. Quickvites Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and annually, that removes ads and unlocks extra features and higher limits. The current features, prices and any free trial are shown on the Premium screen in the app before you buy.
The free plan includes limits, such as the number of events you can create each period and the number of saved templates, drafts and co-hosts. Free users can unlock extra event creations by watching optional rewarded video ads; no payment is involved. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be changed. We may change the limits, features and rewards of the free plan and of Premium from time to time.
You keep ownership of the content you add to Quickvites, such as event details, invitation designs, photos, profile pictures, bios, messages, polls and potluck lists. By adding content, you give Quickvites a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and transmit it only as needed to run the Service. For example, we show your invitation to the people you invite and your profile picture to your friends.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
Hosts can turn on a shared photo album for an event so guests can upload pictures. Only upload photos you have the right to share, and respect the privacy of people who appear in them. The host and Quickvites may remove photos from an album. Albums have size and photo limits that depend on the host's plan.
The Planning Assistant and other AI features use a third-party AI service to generate suggestions. Suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, so review them before relying on them. Do not enter sensitive personal information into AI features. Full access to AI features is part of Quickvites Premium.
The Service uses third-party services to work, including maps and location search, weather forecasts, holiday data, your device's calendar, push notifications, image hosting and the App Store and Google Play for purchases. Information from these services, such as a weather forecast, is provided as is and may be wrong. Your use of them may also be subject to their own terms.
The free version of Quickvites is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads. On iOS, you choose whether to allow tracking for personalized ads. Premium subscribers do not see ads. See our Privacy Policy for how ad data is collected and used.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Quickvites app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these Terms. The Quickvites name, logo, app design, templates and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, and these Terms give you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. We may suspend or end your account if you break these Terms, at our discretion and with or without notice where the law allows. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as 4, 5 and 16 to 19, continue after termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content, forecasts or AI suggestions will be accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Quickvites and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, including anything related to events organized through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold Quickvites harmless from any claims, damages or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your content, events you host or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Honduras, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of San Pedro Sula, Honduras. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will tell you about material changes in the app and update the effective date above. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
If you downloaded Quickvites from the Apple App Store:
If you downloaded Quickvites from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours if the Service is sold or reorganized. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If there is a conflict between the English and Spanish versions, the English version controls.
